Lean Innovation is a framework for individuals and companies to use as a road-map for exploring and validating ideas.  The applied principles of Lean Innovation are deeply rooted in User Experience, Design, Toyota Production System (TPS), Visualization, and Agile development.  The framework was developed to give people practical methods for evolving the way they think about innovation.  The principles of Lean Innovation can work for early start-ups as well as for large organizations and government agencies.  The premise is simple, give users the ability to rapidly explore, validate, and refine ideas.

There are many variations of lean methodologies in the market today.  The central premise is to reduce waste and increase value.  There is no one size fits all approach to innovation; therefore, my hope is that the concept of Lean Innovation will spawn new innovations within the process itself.   This site is dedicated to the subject so please fee free to contribute your ideas.
